Day #84 (Sun., Mar. 28, 2010) – Looking Out The Window

Little Katie was fussy this afternoon so my wife let her look outside the window over the changing table. She immediately calmed down. It looks like little Katie is requiring a lot more stimulation these days…that is why she is so fussy.

I was playing with little Katie this afternoon. She has this toy firefly bug that she enjoys. I was pretending that it is flying and flapping and moving it closer to her. As soon as she got her hands on it, it went into her mouth. That will be the next thing…little Katie eating everything that she can get her hands on.

I had a bit of free time so I thought I would do some cooking this evening. Here’s the menu… Petite sirloin in red wine sauce, served with avocado over a bed of salad greens with cheddar macaroni shells on the side. Topped off with homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert. There’s a picture on the left.

My wife and I are trying to watch the Alfred Hitchcock movie “Rear Window” this evening. I can’t remember how many times we have tried to watch it in the past. Little Katie doesn’t like it much and figures that it would be a waste of our time…so she keeps interrupting us. My wife just said she figures we have tried to watch it about six times…we even tried to watch it before going to the hospital.

Later this evening…not sure what time but we managed to finish “Rear Window” at some point…

12:07pm and little Katie is still fussing about. She’s just started to eat, so hopefully we will all be sleeping soon.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
