When I woke up this morning my wife was making biscuits. It’s always a good idea to have biscuits around the house as sometimes Katie will eat nothing else.
At 8:30am I arrived at Katie’s school for work duty. We need to put in 3 hours of work each school year or pay $90. I started off weeding but then ended up raking mulsh. After about two hours they let us go. I will have to make up the other hour via some other activity.
Katie was watching a television show this afternoon in which they were eating pizza. When she asked me for a pizza I said I could make her a “Cheese Quesadilla Pizza”. A whole grain tortilla on the grill folded over with some cheese in the middle. She loved it.
This afternoon my wife took Katie to Jack’s birthday party. Jack was one of Katie’s classmates and the only classmate he wanted at his party. The party had a “Firetruck” theme (see photo to the left) and instead of a cake they had muffins. I guess Katie asked the firetruck man a lot of questions.
We ordered a “real” pizza for dinner this evening. Always a hit with Katie.
I mentioned to Katie that I used to watch Batman when I was young and soon we were watching reruns of the 1960’s Batman television show on YouTube.
