Day #106 (Mon., Apr. 19, 2010) – Do Not Disturb
1:23am – I’m up. Not sure why…but I am. Wife and baby are sleeping soundly. At least I’m not out driving trying to put a baby asleep…
Yesterday I figured out that I need to find a lot of things that I can do while I’m “playing” with little Katie. In this way I can get things done and she thinks it is “play”. For example, why not sort through all your bills and pay them. You pick up each piece of paper, show her the front and back, and tell her what it is. She will look at it intently with a “what’s that” look, and you are somewhat including her in the process. As far as bills go she will figure out what they are soon enough…

When I got back from work today my wife told me that little Katie was able to turn over from her back to her side. First time as far as we know…
During her trip around the lake today my wife told me that little Katie got to see the little baby ducklings for the first time.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) If you can come up with a list of potential things “todo” while you are with little Katie you can include her in the process while you get things done.
2) Little Katie can turn over from her back to her side now.
