On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie saw a sign that said “No Thru Trucks”. She thought this said “No True Trucks” and wanted to know what it meant. This lead to a discussion about how trucks that were looking for a quick route were not allowed to go down that road. This elaborated into a discussion of how if it really said “No True Trucks” then you would be fine if you were a car dressed up as a truck for Halloween as you were really not a true truck.
Arnesa texted my wife just after 11am this afternoon. Bobby fell down from the tall part of the swing set at the playground. He landed on his behind and was shaken up but didn’t cry. There is a foam padding on the ground and that cushioned the fall. My wife texted Dr. Homan and he said just keep and eye on him and make sure he doesn’t cry too much or sleep too much.

Arnesa had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon so I worked from home in the afternoon so my wife could go get Katie and take her to music class. Bobby seemed fine but he sure didn’t want to sleep. My wife put him to bed when she got home close to 4pm. He got up at 6:30pm so we were up with him til close to 10pm. Long night…
Today Katie learned where “G” is on the piano. Miss Laura says that she is always prepared and is impressed with the fact that she counts time now. The photo to the right shows the collection of piano song books that Katie is going through…
