On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie told me that she looks forward to recess every day. It’s kind of disappointing that she doesn’t say the same about her schoolwork, but it is what it is. She told me that at recess she plays a game that Helen and Victor came up with called “Palace”. She said that she will yell out her secret code word “Mango” and all of her friends will come and rescue her.
The guy brought over a cage to trap the raccoon this afternoon and set it up(see photo to the right). He said he would check on it each day for $50 but my wife said she would call him when we caught it. He said that there will be so much racket when we catch him we will get on the phone right away for him to come and get it.
With the door to the washing room closed, the kitty litter is out near the kitchen. Of course, Bobby took this opportunity to sit in it and try it out as a new sandbox. What a mess…
This evening I told Bobby not to shut the cell phone off when he was watching YouTube as it meant I had to reset it for him again. Well, he did just that and I took him out to the living room. He was upset but he has to learn lessons at some point.
