Day #2718 (Tue., Jun. 13, 2017) – Bobby Cries At Swimming Lesson
I will be working from home on Mondays and Wednesdays from now on so today is the day I go to work. Why Mondays and Wednesdays? This is because these are the two days that Bobby will be going to preschool in a few short months. It is much easier to work from home when he will be out in the mornings. No need to hear “Daddy, Daddy” or have to put up with him pounding on the bedroom door to come out to play.
As school is out for the summer I don’t have to get up at 7am to take Katie to school. A nice little break, but as soon as September rolls around I will getting up at 7am to take her to grade 2 at Glenwood school.
As I was leaving the house this morning Katie was feeding the cats. She took great joy in telling me that she was doing her chores. I told her that I could practically see the MagiQuest wand in her hands now…
My wife took Bobby to Miss Barbara for another swimming lesson today. Today, as was the case last time, he screamed and cried. He was fine as long as he was sitting away from the water, but if he got close, look out. Miss Barbara said that my wife should bring a toy along next time. Something that he likes and will calm him down.
Bobby loved this video of “Steve & Maggie” where a jet flies over his head (see photo to the right). For some reason he found this funny and would laugh and laugh.
