Day #210 (Sun., Aug 1, 2010) – Steering With Her Feet
It is raining outside today…no stroll for little Katie. Chipmunk will get all wet! It did clear up a bit later on in the day, so my mother-in-law took her out for 3 hours (2 1/2 of which little Katie slept).
We all went for a drive this afternoon and ended up at CiCi’s pizza. Little Katie sat in her car seat on the table and my wife fed her some “mush”. So much activity going on…lot for a little chipmunk to take in. As we were leaving I put little Katie on one of the automobile arcade games. She was able to steer the wheel via her feet (see photo to the right).
After the meal my wife and mother-in-law went shopping and I drove little Katie around the block in the car. I would say “aha” and she would reply “aha”. This went on for quite a while. I wonder if she knew it was some sort of a game?
