Day #3000 (Sat., Mar. 24, 2018) – Arnesa’s Housewarming

2018-03-25 - Easter EggsThe photo to the left shows the decorated eggs that Katie made. Yes, it’s that time of year.

I went to Trader Joe’s to get some mushroom turnovers for Arnesa’s housewarming party later today. They don’t sell them anymore, so I got three other packages of frozen appetizers.

As soon as Bobby got up from his nap we went to Arnesa’s housewarming party. Arnesa has a dedicated bedroom for the kids, which is nice. There was this little blonde boy, the son of a Ukranian lady, who took to me and kept handing me cars to play with.

I met the real estate agent who did the deal on Arnesa’s house. As it turns out, Arnesa taught her child when they were living in Bosnia (her husband is a pastor). Small world. She told me that it is definitely a seller’s market right now and that she has even mailed out postcards asking if people wanted to sell their house.

Katie was playing with some kids upstairs and I guess that they got a little rough throwing the balls around. Katie reported the older boy.

Here’s an exchange of comments about Bobby at the party:

————–

Glorija from Croatia was with them in the playroom and she was amazed how Bobby behaved even Kai didn’t want to share his trucks with him. He waited patiently and she could not believe that he didn’t try to hit him or to fight with him. Kai is very sensitive and he doesn’t want to share anything. Glorija put a lot of strength to just keep him to not bite another child or any kind of fitting. Bobby is definitely not the child that will try to take something by any kind of fighting. So it was funny for me how Bobby hid those cars under his shirt later.

My friend Elizabeth who had little baby Christina asked me to who belongs this little polite man and how old is he. When I said three she was so surprised. Well, he definitely looks bigger than his age and his behavior is also very mature. I told her very proudly: I babysat him for a year!

Dea had a chance to talk to all of you and she said to me very seriously and very emotionally: “I am so glad that you have such great friends, they love you a lot” I know that, but I almost started to cry. I just can imagine how much nice words you told her about us…
