Day #3001 (Sun., Mar. 25, 2018) – First Strawberry Shortcake
It’s time for another Daddy/Daughter Day. This one is #67 to be exact. While my wife was putting Bobby to bed for his nap Katie and were out the door.
We had to drop some clothes off at Arnesa’s old and new house, but right after that we were at the Dollar Store to pick up some bristol board. We’re going to make a dinosaur to go over Bobby’s RC car.
The next stop was McDonalds where Katie devoured the cheeseburger in her Happy Meal. Katie loved the strawberry shortcake ice cream that I picked up at the nearby gas station (see photo to the left). This was the first time she ever had one and loved it. I knew that she would. She said that she definitely wants to get it again on the next Daddy/Daughter day.
Our next stop was the Mardi Gras bowling alley to play some “video games”. Well, they didn’t have a lot of video games, but quite a few pinballs and other games of chance. Katie loved this game where you released balls and it went into a hole. The number on the hole determined how many tickets you would get. She got enough for a notebook, a tattoo, and a little spider for Bobby.
We then went home where we made the bristol board dinosaur for Bobby and even managed to iron out some more of the rules on our vet game. Quite the day!
