My wife took Katie to a birthday party this afternoon. Katie was upset that the birthday girl didn’t spend much time with her. My wife dropped Bobby off at Arnesa’s before the party, and picked him up and brought him home after the party.
I walked the mall this evening. We used to do this back in 2015 with little Bobby just before all this “knee” drama materialized. We had dinner at Chick-Fil-A. Bobby saw a ferry boat at the Little Red Hen that he liked (see photo to the left). It’s cheaper on Amazon, naturally. Bobby brought his green pickup truck and I put one of the Chick-Fil-A nuggets in it so Bobby could drive it around.
The photo to the right shows the lady who created Spanx. Her father encouraged her to fail and now she is a billionaire. A good lesson for Katie and Bobby about failing.
When we got home Katie went for a dip in the swimming pool. We were surprised that Katie had a dip. We thought it would be too cold for her. Bobby is still a little bit wary of the water. Not sure where this comes from.
When we got home we watched the Preakness on television. We all got to pick a horse. Justify was heavily favored to win. I was surprised Katie didn’t pick this horse. Could win the “Triple Crown” this year.
