We all went to Home Depot this morning to get some lubricant for the van doors. We saw a YouTube video last night where the guy explained how this lubricant would fix the problem of the doors not always closing properly. Katie and Bobby both got a cart with a steering wheel to ride in, and daddy got a chance to get his walk in as well. They both enjoyed sitting on the tractors afterward.
On the way home, we stopped off at Trader Joe’s. This is the first time I believe that the entire family went shopping here. The kids got to enjoy some Swedish Fish (gummies actually). Bobby fell down and scraped his knee on the way back to the van.
We all went for a dip in the backyard swimming pool this afternoon. Bobby enjoyed squirting daddy with his tubular squirt gun (see photo to the right). He also enjoyed going up and down the ladder that gets you into the pool. He even dove off it at Katie and my encouragement. He got his face wet and started to cry, but at least he did it. Katie enjoyed doing back swims.
My wife made an appointment for swimming lessons with Miss Barbara for both Katie and Bobby this afternoon.
