The kids loved the pumpkin bread that I made last night. To get the kids to eat is always a highlight.
I have a bad back this morning. Could it be from picking Katie’s bike up yesterday? At any rate, I did have the energy and ability to drop Bobby off at school and pick him up. He doesn’t recognize his name on the wall board (see photo to the right). He knows numbers and letters…I guess teaching him what his name looks like is next. They had an assortment of fireman clothes laid out on the table in the “Fish” classroom. Bobby will love that.
Genevieve will be doing the Halloween party this year. That is one less thing that we will need to worry about.
I took Katie to her dance class this evening. I went and got a small coffee at McDonald’s while she danced away.
We had no meat so my wife made soup out of one can of chili this evening.
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies this evening. I spent around $160 … much better than the $400 we have been spending in the past. The key is to cut down on packaged and processed foods.
