I put the sleeve on the swing rope (see photo to the right) this afternoon. When I hoisted it up the tree it got stuck and now I cannot bring it down. I ordered a pulley from Amazon so that I will be able to change the rope length and not need to lower the whole rope in order to do it.
Unfortunately, the kids will be without the swing while I wait for the pulley. I think it is one of the best gifts that we have ever given them. They are out swinging on it almost every day (unless it really rains). They hardly ride their bikes anymore.
We all sat around the television in the living room this afternoon and watched the flight of the SN10. This time, it safely landed, but the landing gear did not work properly. As a result, it exploded soon after it touched down. Back to the drawing board. At least it makes progress with each and every flight. They just need to get the landing gear situation working now.
