Day #4172 (Tue., Jun 8, 2021) – Spaying Maple

My wife to Maple to the vet this morning to get spayed. The plan was that she would stay there overnight, but they released her later this afternoon.
I had a doctor’s appointment with Dr. J. This is the first time that I have seen her in over a year. She is at a new location now, at Eastowne Drive, across from Wegmans.
On the way home from seeing the doctor I stopped off at Harris Teeter for some donuts. Kind of a graduation gift for the kids. I have been talking about the strawberry ones for a while. They were HUGE. Bobby at the most (see photo to the left).
When we picked Maple up this evening she was obviously very drugged and tired. She has to be watched to ensure she doesn’t exert herself. My wife and Katie took turns staying with her at home, so I put Bobby to bed this evening. I read him the story about a “Rocket Launcher” from his Disney’s Toy Story book.
