Day #305 (Thu., Nov. 4, 2010) – Destination…The Mouth…
3:55am – We are up with little Katie. She refuses to sleep…
Today is the 10th month since little Katie graced us with her presence. She weighed in at 20lbs 15oz today.
You have to watch little Katie like a hawk these days. She always manages to find things that she shouldn’t have, like lint or paper or “whatever”…and it all ends up in her mouth.
My wife is starting to let little Katie feed herself. She read that sometimes kids refuse to eat because they want to feed themselves. She cut up some egg into small pieces (photo to the right) so that little Katie could handle them better. She nibbled on them…but didn’t eat them all.
8:21pm – I put little Katie in the hallway and she is kneeling and peering through the gate towards me. She looks like a caged animal longing for its freedom.

1) Little Katie has one destination for things…her mouth…
