Bobby has “make up” violin class today. When he came home he had a bath and a nap for close to 3 hours. I think having “in-person” classes is exhausting him. He’s used to having a more free flowing lifestyle after being home due to COVID-19 for two years.
Katie went to the shopping mall this afternoon with Emory and her mom. My wife wanted to stay at home to get things ready for the upcoming consignment sale. She borrowed my wife’s credit card, but she was to stay within the limits of what Emory was buying. Katie got a t-shirt for about $20, but she really wanted some “plaid pants”, but they were out. They had Chick-Fil-A on the benches outside the mall.
The kids area really missing popsicles. I will need to go shopping tomorrow.
I put Bobby to bed this evening. He actually read to me rather than me reading to him. The book in question was about Hawaii Waves from the Magical Treehouse series (see photo to the left).
