The photo to the left shows the Minecraft Lego Set that we gave to Ethan for his birthday this past Sunday.
I slept in late this morning so my wife took Bobby to school. In fact, I didn’t get up till around 11am… I think this pollen has really gotten to me this year! It comes and goes. Sometimes I seem to be able to handle it better than at other times.
I picked Bobby up at 2:40 pm this afternoon. For some reason the lineup of cars is less than it was a few months ago. On the drive home Bobby told me that he had a grilled cheese and bacon for lunch today. He didn’t like the grilled cheese, but he sure loved the bacon. He said that there were between 10-20 pieces of it. I’m not sure how the school can afford to feed the kids bacon? Isn’t inflation on the rage these days? From what I can see, bacon is one of the most expensive meats available.
Bobby also told me that Ari and Atticus were teasing Luke today, and he was crying. Bobby asked him if he wanted him to go and tell the teacher about it. Luke said yes, so Bobby went and told the teacher. When they wouldn’t stop teasing Luke, Bobby said that they got sent to the principal’s office. Not sure of what the outcome was after that, or even what they said to make him cry.
It’s Tuesday, so it’s Drama Club Day for Katie! The drama club meets for two hours after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With Elliott Road one-way now due to construction, my wife had to go through Franklin Street to get home.
It’s going to be a toss up if Katie will choose drama or basketball this fall… She doesn’t have enough time for both. We’ll see…
