Day #4481 (Wed., Apr. 13, 2022) – Cane’s Chicken
Cane’s Chicken is coming to the site that was Spanky’s a few years ago (see photo to the left).
Bobby didn’t get up till late this morning, so I drove him to Glenwood and dropped him off just in the nick of time. He took his lunch from home today. She said that his best school lunch was peach parfait, and his worst was chicken terriyaki.
I picked Bobby up at Glenwood this afternoon. For some reason the lineup of cars is dwindling when I get there around 2pm.
On the drive home Bobby was pestering me to email his mom about playing on the iPad. We agreed that he can play on the iPad after he gets his violin practice in. He seemed fine with that. In fact, he said let me practice now, and picked up his violin, and practiced a new song he has been learning.
Later this afternoon I went into Bobby’s room to see him and he put his iPad down and asked if we could play the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” card game. I thought his battery had died, but he said that he wanted to spend time with me. We played a few hands, and then we talked about the movie we would watch on our upcoming Daddy/Son Day. We decided it would be a Power Rangers movie. I told him that I would get him some Pixy Sticks, and he was surprised I remembered he asked for them a while back.
Katie had her singing class with our neighbor this afternoon. She came home with a bunch of Easter candy.
