Day #4488 (Wed., Apr. 20, 2022) – Meeting Mike
Early this morning my first retirement check came into our bank account! I’ve been working hard all my life for this moment… 🙂 Time for the “pay out”!
I couldn’t take Bobby to school today as I had a class to teach. My wife took him, then came back and took Katie to school.
I picked up Bobby after class today. On the drive home we talked about the difference between “murder” and “assassinate” (it’s interesting the questions that kids have). We also talked about how Ari, the boy who bullied Luke the other day, sits at Bobby’s table, but that might get resolved as Bobby thinks he might be in 2nd grade now… We’ll see…
When we got home I made Bobby a quesadilla, and he had chocolate milk and a cupcake for dessert (see photo to the left). After that, he wanted a peanut butter & jelly sandwich as well.
Bobby turned down an offer for a playdate with Cal this afternoon. Sometimes Cal can be a bit too much…
Katie made a new friend today, Mike, who is apparently one of the top students in the school. She is very excited.
