Who needs Panera Bread! Not when you can have breakfast and a beautiful view overlooking your property as showcased in the photo to the left! This is my own personal “Panera Bread”!
I ordered a top of the line Withings “Body Comp” Scale via Amazon.ca this morning. It will take a bit of time to arrive, estimated now to be on Wednesday, June 26th (NOTE: It actually arrived on Sunday, June 16th). Surely not the fast, speedy service we were used to getting in Chapel Hill.
I gave an apple core to the chickens yesterday and it was gone this morning! One chicken in particular really took to it. I gave them a banana peel the day before that. They love to see me coming with all these special treats to add to their rather basic diet!
This afternoon I took a trip to Dollarama to get a placemat and some dish detergent for my suite above the donkey stables! Katie came along for the ride. I also picked up a dozen Keith’s beer in bottles at the liquor store next to Thrifty Foods. On the way home we stopped off at Boba Island for a Boba tea for Katie (2) and Bobby (1) afterward (see photo to the right).
This evening we had “Spaghetti Dinner” on the patio. We each tried one of the “Cherry Blossom” chocolates that I picked up at Dollarama earlier today. They are much smaller, and much more expensive, than the version that they had when I was a kid!
I put the battery into Bobby’s scooter this evening. He’s been asking about it for the past day or so. Well, today is the day… He’s off and running, and very excited!
