Day #5530 – (Tue., Feb. 25, 2025) – 14th Street House
Bobby went to school today. My wife took Katie to see the concert pianist/comedian Sarah Hagen in the morning, then off to school.
I stopped off at 14th Street in Courtenay today and saw the first house that we looked at when considering our move to Courtenay (see photo to the right).
Both Bobby and Katie have expressed an interest in playing test. I saw a little set for $6.97 at Walmart when I was out today, so I bought it (see photo to the left).
I had enough energy to pick up Bobby and Katie after school today so I must be getting better. On the drive home Bobby told me that he doesn’t play soccer anymore because the guys are too competitive. Katie and I went for a drive after I picked her up. Rather than McDonalds Katie had one of the bananas that I picked up at Walmart… Healthy choice!
Bobby had Dominik and Connor over after school today. They watched some Minecraft videos on the projector in the garage.
Once I get my energy back, probably this weekend, I plan to test out some healthy recipes for Bobby. I made this homemade Nutella the other day out of PB2 that we delish! We’ll play some chess and maybe watch a movie as well.
