Day #5540 – (Fri., Mar. 7, 2025) – Louisiana Therapist

There are only two chickens now (see photo to the left). Kinda lonely, but there is too much going on in our life right now to consider getting new baby chicks…

I went to the hospital this afternoon to get my chest x-rays. They told me that they will send them to the doctor who ordered them so I suspect that if there are any problems he will contact me. Having said that, hopefully the doxycycline he prescribed will thick this pneumonia out of my system once and for all!

Bobby had an earthquake drill at school today. After school he stayed and played with Brodie. Brodie’s family was planning on going to California during spring break but his father got sick and they never went.

Bobby fell during recess and hurt his back and ears. My wife gave him some ibuprofen and he was asleep by 8:45 pm.

I changed my address to ETrade today and was informed that since they do not have branches in Canada I can no longer trade stocks here. I can however sell stocks like NVDA from my ROTH account and transfer the money to Canada, and that’s all I need, so I’ll proceed as usual for now. I might look for a company that does have Canadian offices and transfer out, but for now, business as usual.

Katie talked to her therapist via zoom in her room today. We originally had a woman from South Carolina, but transferred out to Lori Arceneaux from Louisiana. Katie liked her, and she gave her some strategies for skiing tomorrow. Her mood seems to have improved and she even played viola today.
