Day #5553 – (Thu., Mar. 20, 2025) – Library Book Ordeal
I went to the Courtenay public library to pick up a Dogman book (see photo to the right) that my wife reserved for Bobby. It seemed like quite an easy task, but it was not to be. Apparently I cannot pick up a book for someone else unless they call and let them know. I tried to call my wife but she was not available. I thought I could pick up another copy of the book but they would not even let me know the name of the book that she reserved. The librarian told me that they adhere to the same record policy as health care records. So I left, and my wife sent me a copy of her library card, and I went back. Well, that was not good enough. Even when I got her on the phone the librarian said that my wife had to call the library up by herself and let them know I was allowed to pick her books up. So she did, and I picked up the book, and left…
My wife and Katie took Batman to the vet this afternoon for a checkup after his surgery last week. He got a clean bill of health, but still needs to take his meds.
The kids had their voila/violin lesson this evening.
Katie is really enjoying creating thumbnails for her new YouTube channel videos.
