On the Courtenay side of the equation the dog & cat are doing fine. Maple goes through her routine rather smoothly, but Batman, well, that’s another story. He’s become wary of me, “The Medicine Man”, and it can be quite the ordeal to get him to take his blue antibiotic pill. He’s learned how to flash his tongue back and forth and spit the pill out. I eventually get him to take it, but since it is so small you hve to be careful that it doesn’t roll away and get lost…

On the Vancouver side of the equation the family went to “Science World” from 11 am – 1:30 pm, which was quite the little walk from the AirB&B. The kids enjoyed the various games (see photo to the right). There was virtual skiing, wheelchair racing, and even a “Racing A Sperm” game. There was one section of the windows where you could dim them with a switch, which was quite cool technology. There was even a section of the museum that had some dinosaur bones.
On the way home they picked up some McDonalds to take home to eat. After my wife took a nap Katie and her went to a nearby mall for a bit.
I guess the pillows at the AirB&B are thin and few. After they complained they got two more delivered. Still miserably thin, but at least now they can double them.
The dishwasher in the AirB&B doesn’t work, so the kids did the dishes this evening.
