Day #5570 – (Sun., Apr. 6, 2025) – Jewelry Market Hair Clips

Daddy made an egg sandwich out of the “First Egg of the Season” that he picked up yesterday! Katie said that I should give some of it to the chickens, which is kinda strange…a chicken eating some of the egg that it laid…

Katie went to a rock & jewelry market with Annika, Madeline, and another girl from Vanier this afternoon. She picked up some hair clips (see photo to the right). She thought it would just be showing rocks, so the added jewelry part was nice.

After dropping Katie off her mom went to the “Real Canadian Superstore” for groceries. With tariffs coming perhaps we should consider stocking up…

Now that Batman has his stitches out and and jump and get around, my wife assembled the cat tree in Katie’s room.

Bobby played with Ethan online for hours today and practiced his violin later in the day.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are currently showing significant volatility, reflecting market uncertainty ahead of Monday’s opening.

  • Dow Futures: 38,530.00, down 2,246 points (-5.51%), indicating a sharp decline.
  • Day’s Range: 38,303 – 40,747, showing wide fluctuations.
  • 52-Week Range: 37,463 – 45,270, meaning we’re near the lower end of the yearly trend.

This drop is largely driven by concerns over new trade tariffs, recession fears, and broader economic uncertainty. Investors are watching key economic indicators and policy announcements that could impact Monday’s market sentiment.
