Day #5627 – (Mon., June 2, 2025) – Math 10 & 11 and English 10 & 11
Bobby’s sick at home today but Katie went to school. Take a look at the poster Katie did for science class (see photo to the right)!
I ordered graduation gifts for the kids today. An electric bike for Bobby and a Cricut printer for Katie. We’ll give them to them early so that they can enjoy them before the trip to Lithuania!
Katie went to see her counselor today and got permission to do both English and Math 11 next year! She will be taking PE and careers at NIDES over the summer to free her schedule to do both Math 10 and Math 11 as well as English 10 and English 11 next year. This will leave space for the electives like French and guitar.
Bobby got a birthday invite from Esca (his German classmate) to his birthday on Saturday, June 21, from 3pm. They plan to go to the lake for a bit, then camp in the backyard for the night. Pick up next morning by 10. They said that if he’s not comfortable to sleepover he can be picked up anytime.
Later today, another invite, this time from Brodie’s mom. Brodie is having his birthday party this weekend on Sunday, June 8 from 12 to 3 at their house.
Bobby was super happy about invites! He said “even when i am not there, they remember me!”
Bobby was also happy that after starving for 3 days he lost 5 lbs. since a month or so ago
Katie is working on a new YouTube channel, this time on her efforts to get into an Ivy League College.
