My wife took both kids to Urgent Care this morning. No prescriptions, just “ride it out”…
Katie is now registered for her courses at NIDES, they just need to finish the enrollment process. Ms. Brach, Katie’s guidance counsellor is suggesting not enrolling in psychology just yet, but concentrate on one course at a time. Katie will also be able to get two credits for driving school.
Tomorrow is the last soccer game of the season. I’m planning to go, but Bobby is super tired, so there is a chance he won’t go. We’re not sure why he is tired, maybe from coughing, maybe from low ropes at camp Bob. His legs are covered in bruises- he had a very hard time recalling what happened. He thinks he got them while climbing out of Gaga pit!!!

I just saw a deer run to the back of our property… I have no idea how it got in, but that mesh between our property and Carolyn’s might need enforcing (see photo to the left). Oh, and we paid the deposit for the gate installation at the front of our property today.
I haven’t been letting the chickens out of the coop all day for fear of the eagles circling about looking for food for their young. I do let them out for a few hours at the end of the day… I figure the eagles will be done feeding their young by then…
I went to that Tim Hortons down the road this evening and what a major disappointment… I had high hopes since their recent renovation… still crappy service and “dead like”. It’s almost like people don’t want to go there anymore. The location on Guthrie has much more of a “vibe”, but no where near Panera Breads vibe. I sure miss my Panera Bread!
On Sunday a SAT math book is coming and Katie can start devouring that. She’s up and down over Yale these days on whether she is good enough to get in or not.
The electric bike that we ordered for Bobby as a graduation present is coming on Monday. Someone will need to be home to sign for it.
