Day #5655 – (Mon., June 30, 2025) – Off To Vilnius!
I dropped the family off at the Comox airport shortly after 9 am this morning. They will fly from Comox to Vancouver, then via Lufthansa to Frankfurt, then on to Lithuania. They had three large suitcases checked in all the way to Vilnius, about 35 lbs. each, and two backpacks as carry on. Each piece of luggage had an air tag in them so it was nice to see that they were in the same airports that they were.

After dropping “The Fam” off I went to A&W for one of their large $1 coffees, which a guy told me they served in the AM. I went home empty handed when I learned it was only through the drive thru, but the sit down was still $2.90… Pissed me off…
During the 4-hour Vancouver wait, my wife and kids sat next to a mom and daughter from Belarus who live in Yukon now. They had a fascinating conversation and the time just flew by. She sent a photo of my wife’s charging port to her husband. My wife also provided a USB box to plug in their phone to a German family.
My wife left me a routine to take care of Batman and Maple. Basically feeding, playing, and cuddling… I also have to water the plants.
I got 1/2 of the lawn area to the swing mowed this evening. I will do the other half tomorrow.
