Day #5664 – (Wed., July 9, 2025) – Vichi Waterpark

This morning my wife took an Uber to see her dad. She could only spend an hour with him since today was going to be a busy day with the kids.

She then took an Uber to a music store in the “old town” to get some rosin for the bow that Katie is borrowing and made the 10 minute walk home.

After a quick lunch Bobby and her went to the Vichi Waterpark. You can see one of their slides in the photo to the right. He tried a few of the slides, but his favorite activity was the wave pool, which we incidentally have at the Courtenay pool! Bobby said that this wave pool was one of the highlights of his whole trip to Europe! The waves turn on at 10 minute intervals, such as 12:52 pm and 1:52 pm. There was also a “Lazy River” that they both enjoyed, along with a water bar and some food as well. After three hours Bobby had enough and was ready to go home.

This evening my wife had dinner plans at the Georgian House with her former professor at 6:30 pm. The food was awesome, but they kind-of “kicked them out” as soon as they were done eating so they went back to their Air B&B for tea and cake. She was glad to meet up but sad to hear that even the University has changed as money dictates everything these days.
