Day #5665 – (Thu., July 10, 2025) – Lithuanian Passports

In Lithuania: The family had a slow morning and got out only a bit after 12:40 pm to go get kids’ passports (see photo to the right). The Uber they requested stopped moving on the map, so my wife ended up canceling it and getting another one. They still made it on time and soon were done.

They then took an Uber go to see the kid’s grandmother’s place. The kids chose some more jewelry and amber to take home with them. Grandma cooked some chicken and vegetable stew and Bobby said it was the best meal ever!!! My wife changed a bulb and a few clock batteries for her mother. She also connected the tv the cable box and explained exactly how to use it. While the kids ate, she went to check on her father’s car and after connecting the clamp, was surprised that the battery wasn’t dead! He was so proud of her for doing all these chores (‘you do know how to fix stuff!’). Apparently changing the bulb was actually the trickiest part.

After coming home, my wife and Katie went to tour art/stationery stores to look for a new journal for Katie since she almost done with her current one. In an hour, the weather changed from drizzle to rain to sun to torrential downpour to thunderstorm multiple times!!! Anyway, Katie is very excited as she only has 33 pages left in her current journal before she starts using them!

After getting home they soon had to leave again for a grocery run.
