Bobby went over to Esca’s today for a “playdate”. They ended up bouncing on their trampoline and even read a book. Tomorrow Esca will be coming over to our place for another “playdate”. I guess you could call this the “Weekend of Esca”! 🙂
This evening Bobby mentioned that he would like to have a trampoline. He’s mentioned this in the past, but I think now might be a great time to get one. The neighbors all seem to have one, including Dominic, Brody, and Esca. The question is what size and shape and all “this and that”. I plan to take Bobby out on a Daddy/Son Day soon to chat about it so I can get more of an idea as to what he wants.
Katie did a lot of homework today. Math, and even a psychology assignment that she has been putting off.
This evening Katie and I went for a drive. I accidentally broke the glass water cannister that I have been using so I went on a hunt for one. No luck at Costco earlier today, and even this evening at Canadian Tire or Walmart where I bought the other one. I think I will just wait a day or so and see what comes back into stock and go from there… Katie wasn’t interested in shopping this evening so she waited in the car while I went in.
I’m on the lookout for a screw to afix the knob to the armoire in the office. They sell them in packages at Canadian Tire and Walmart, but I think Slegg’s Building Supplies sells them in loose quantities. I might try them out tomorrow so I’ll be sure to get the right size. I thought taking a photo of it next to a known reference object (see photo to the right) might be a good idea for ChatGPT to tell me exactly the dimensions, but it messed up with a “hallucination”… The technology is not there yet…
Katie and I did stop off at McDonalds. I got a small black coffee and Katie got a 10-piece chicken McNugget meal… Guess you can call this Daddy/Daughter Day #162!
