Yesterday Bobby went over to Esca’s house. Today Esca came over to our house. They played laser tag a bit and then retreated to Bobby’s room to play some more. Bobby has outgrown his scooter so he gave it to Esca, who was elated! Once Esca left Bobby went on a walk with his mom and they saw Brodie, so Bobby played with Brodie for a while till he had to go home.
Later this afternoon Katie and Bobby played a bit of volleyball and ping pong!
This evening Bobby showed me how to “drift” on his electric bike. We used to do the same sort of thing on our 3-speeds back in the day. It involves basically getting up to speed, slamming the brakes, and then letting the back tire spin out (see photo to the right).
My wife started the “Schitt’s Creek” puzzle that Katie and her picked up at Value Village the other day. The box was unopened, so hopefully there are no missing pieces.
After this “drifting” demonstration Bobby and I went to the garage where we played a couple of games of “8 Ball”. He’s getting better and better at the game!
