Katie had a waffle and some strawberry milk for breakfast this morning.
At Huband today the teacher asked the students to write a letter to someone. Bobby chose Katie, and what a nice sweet letter he wrote (see photo to the left).
The test results are in and Katie did amazingly well. She got 100% on her math quiz, which means 97.2 is her current grade. In French she got 100% for bakery! She also got a 100% on her English quiz on poetry.
I put up a roosting area closer to the ground so that “Spot” will be able to get up to the roosts. She has been trying to get up to the top roosting area like her friends, but just can’t make it. Now she has a place of her own.
My wife installed the web cam in the chicken coop later this afternoon so we will be able to see what the chickens are up too each evening, and if any “varments” are getting in to disturb them. This evening we could see that they flew up to their roosting areas at 7 pm, 10 minutes before full darkness. My wife went up to the coop a bit after that to put “Spot” on her own little resting pole a bit closer to the ground.
