Day #5767 – (Mon., Oct. 20, 2025) – Trick Or Treat Bag

Along with his costume Bobby has sewn some patches on his trick or treat bag (see photo to the right).

I could not get our Ratinator working, and since it has a high voltage mechanism, didn’t feel like I should monkey around with it in case a high voltage capacitator was involved. I went ahead and ordered a new one from Amazon and it will be here in a few days. Mr. Rat, enjoy your next few days…

I had a COVID shot at Comox Valley Pharmacy, next to Tim Horton’s on Guthrie, at 2:30 pm this afternoon. The place was packed and they were processing people like an assembly line.

This afternoon I went to Shar-Kare and picked up some more “Chick Grower” feed. They had a sale on shavings, so I picked up a couple of bags of those as well. I just love the black cat they have there. It has a raspy meow and I said that they could cut it back from two packs of cigarettes a day. They were feeding it treats on the counter when I arrived.

Bobby was practicing his casting this afternoon and got the line stuck up in the tree. It’s quite the mess, so sorting it out is on my “ToDo” list for tomorrow!

Katie thinks that she will be Wednesday for Halloween this year! No news on what Emma will be, but they will be chumming around on Halloween night.

Was my arm ever sore this evening after that COVID shot!
