Yesterday Bobby hurt his ankle during recess so my wife drove him all the way to Huband this morning and let him off at the front door. During recess today he FORGOT about pain and managed to twist the knee while playing some game! He managed to sit through the violin lesson with Miss Daisy this afternoon and is planning to ride his bike tomorrow!
Bobby picked up another “Huband Has Heart” award today (see photo to the right).
Speaking of the viola/violin lesson with Miss Daisy this afternoon, she put new strings on Bobby’s violin and they sound great! Katie played beautifully as always. Towards the end, two girls came for their lesson and they couldn’t take eyes of Katie playing. The mom commented: “you have very talented kids!’ To which Katie humbly responded ’thanks’.
Bobby got invited to a Halloween Party this weekend! Here are the particulars: Isaac is excited to throw a Halloween party this Sunday, Oct 26 at our house from 2pm to 5:30pm. There will be games, a move and pizza for dinner. Costumes are encouraged and candy will be flowing. 🎉🎃 Please reply back in this thread to let me know if your kiddo can make it! My wife went to a PAC (parent advisory committee) meeting at Vanier tonight. This was her first time in the capacity as secretary.
While checking Katie’s math my wife found three mistakes in the teacher’s answer key… It’s not the first time 😳
Katie is in a better mood today. She wants to run for a Interact (Rotary) position for the next year and is planning pumpkin carving and baking events with her friends.
