My wife was helping out with the salad bar at Huband this morning so I took Katie to school at 8:50 am. It was raining “Cats & Dogs” and Katie wore her rain coat and boots. She said that her mother would be shocked, but she wanted to be in comfort rather than stylish today. She forgot to take her umbrella with her when she left the car though…
On the drive to Vanier Katie said that she actually likes the rain now. She says that it kinda mirrors her mood and no longer needs to have it hot and sunny all the time. Our little girl is growing up!
We went to Costco the other day for Halloween candy and “overbought”… I’m sure the kids will eat any overflow, but we need to make sure that Bobby doesn’t “gorge” on it and make himself sick.
Katie is in a pretty good mood this evening. I’m sure that the good grades (see photo to the right) she is getting helps!
My wife heard back from Island Health today! They want to meet with her virtually within the next few weeks and help them create a “data dictionary”. She is very excited and I said that she might consider going to Victoria sometime on a “vacation” and meet with the people there since she was “in the neighborhood anyway”. I’ve had jobs appear that didn’t exist because of stuff like this… 🙂
Soon it will be time to determine what to stuff our Christmas Advent Calendars for the kids with. Maybe Minecraft Lego stuff for Bobby? Jewelry for Katie?
