The photo to the right shows our new front gate, freshly decorated for Halloween (see photo to the right).
Bobby told me that his teacher handed out Halloween candy today, which was nice.
Today is Thursday, so it was also “Pizza Day” at Bobby’s school. He had Locals (his favorite local pizza place) Hawaiian pizza, his favorite, and he tells me that there is no limit on how many slices he can have… I bet if they were hungry teenage boys there would need to be a limit or the school would go broke!
Katie got 100% on her science lab safety test and 95% on math exponents/ roots quiz (nobody got more than 95% on that quiz). Katie’s Model UN was canceled today, so my wife and her finished watching the “Phantom of the Opera”, a 2004 movie. After that Katie worked on her math homework which included one optional problem from Pre-calculus 11!
I took some of the gravel near our old barn this afternoon and put it on the driveway leading up to the “Barn Suite”. I’ve been thinking of this all summer, and now that the fall and the rainy season is here, it’s time. The rain and the car driving on it will help the gravel to stay in place rather than the car wheels scattering it all about. It might need some more in the next few weeks, but we’ll see how it goes.
Bobby’s going to school in his Halloween “Plague Doctor” costume tomorrow! They have a parade first thing in the morning.
