My wife and Bobby were coughing quite a bit today, but Katie and I are well.
Katie and I went for a drive this evening, to the Real Canadian Superstore for groceries to get some groceries (see photo to the left). Effectively our first drive since her trip to Toronto, and Daddy/Daughter Chat #42.
We stopped off at Tim Hortons on Guthrie Road at first for a hot chocolate and sprinkled donut for Katie, and a black coffee for me. We were hoping to see Rod, the friendly Filipina who works there, but he was not tending to the drive thru window this evening.

After driving and chatting we ended up at the Real Canadian Superstore. Here’s what we got…
- apple juice
- bananas (greenish)
- carrot juice
- cheese (hard white aged)
- eggs
- “Green Goodness” juice (see photo to the right)
- maple syrup
- milk
- orange juice
Katie was talking how there is a business school in the Netherlands that she is interested in attending. Maybe she will end up there. I told her that there is lots of time to decide, and if she is not sure, she can always take some entrepreneur/business classes at North Island College till she feels more certain about where her passion and vision for the future leads her. It’s better to sit and think and wait over making a hasty decision she is not “all in” on. All is good.
Pebbles and Eclipse roosted apart from the others tonight, as usual, so my wife had to pick them up and put them all together.
