Katie went to get her driver’s license (see photo to the right). She took her theory test and passed and then passed her vision test. She is now a “Learner” driver and we have to put a “L” metallic sticker on our vehicle when she is driving either our car or van. We will start taking actual “physical” driving car lessons next month.
When my wife and I moved to BC last year they gave us a one year drivers license so we both went to renew it today. No big deal, just take a new photo and pay for the replacement. This new license, when it comes in the mail, will be good for five years!
My wife made an appointment for Bobby at 6:30 pm this evening at Urgent Care. He has an ear infection and I had to go pick up a prescription for him at Shopper’s Drug Mart in Courtenay. Katie were out for a drive so my wife texted us and we went to pick it up.
We got an email asking us if we were still looking for a doctor so we are apparently near the top of the list. Hopefully our “Urgent Care Days” will be over soon.
Incidentally, while Katie and I were out on our drive this evening I lost my credit card. The last place we were at was Starbucks. We searched high and low, and even went back to Starbucks. Apparently after getting coffee it fell into the little plastic holders between the car seats.
