I went to the Courtenay Pharmacy this evening to pick up the second prescription for Bobby as Urgent Care messed up the first one. It’s amazing how much the CAA Insurance card is saving us… The prescription came to over $40 and we ended up paying a bit over $10. Quite the deal!
While at the pharmacy I happened to notice the owner outside the next door business, Poke Page, putting up another sign outdoors. I asked the cashier at Courtenay Pharmacy about it and apparently he is going to still sell what he currently sells, but add some Korean BBQ items to the mix as well.
Next up was Walmart where I browsed around and saw some Christmas candy for 75% off. Not wanting to pass up a great deal like this, I picked up four lollipops, one Spongebob and one starfish, two each for Katie and Bobby (see photo to the left).
Katie and I went for a drive this evening. We ended up at Starbucks. It looks like Katie is leaning more and more to going to North Island College for their marketing & entrepreneur program. I’m not sure if she will finishing up there, or transfer somewhere else, but it will be good for her nonetheless.
What Katie is currently planning reminds me of when I was finishing up high school and should have taken my first two years at the local agricultural college rather than transfer to Dalhousie. It would have been cheaper and will a lot less drama so I could have spent more time focusing on my homework.
Bobby brought home a permission form for curling lessons.
Today was supposedly the last rainy day for a while… No more rain for 10 days. It’s so warm there is no snow on Mount Washington!
