Katie went to school today but Bobby was home sick. Both Bobby and I are going to need a haircut soon as the manes are getting out of control.

Time for an update from the “Chicken Cam” (see photo to the right).
I picked up Katie after school today. At 5 pm today instead of 3:10 pm as she had a “Model UN” meeting. As Katie was approaching the car Jax (who will be leading the Vanier “Model UN” club next year as Violet is graduating) waved to me as he got into his car. Seems like a nice friendly fellow.
Katie and I went on a drive this evening. We stopped off at Starbucks for a couple of drinks and Katie’s customary “Cake Pop”. It came to almost $20…how can people afford stuff like this on a regular basis? Katie tried a bit of my “London Fog” and said that she doesn’t prefer it…while I love it!
On the drive I was telling her my “idea” on how to overcome “imposter” syndrome. On a previous drive we narrowed down the fact that she is so overwhelmed by “imposter” syndrome is because of the fear of rejection that she believes that she will get once they realize what she is really like. I suggested that she just give a little “joke” after a positive comment like this, something along the lines of “I hope you still think so highly of me once you realize what I’m really like”. In this way she will be opening up a “channel of thought” in their mind to be “surprised” and thereby alleviate some of the pressure off Katie. Katie said that she would feel uncomfortable even with this, so the search for a “cure” continues…
There was no group viola/violin class with Daisy tonight as Bobby is sick and Katie had a “Model UN” meeting.
My new Instant Pot came today!
