Day #5881 – (Wed., Feb. 11, 2026) – Adding Zephyr To The Mix!

Katie is home sick today. Bobby went to school but it’s so cold my wife drove him rather than him taking his bike.

The photo to the right shows one of our chickens laying in their new “laying box”.

Katie and my wife were busy with math homework so I picked up Bobby at Huband this afternoon. On the drive home he told me how nice his classmate Zephyr is, and how he would like to have a playdate with him sometime. Basically add him to the “Issac & Eska” loop I suppose. He told me that his “rich” classmate Enzo is in Australia and New Zealand now and will be back to the Comox Valley next month. It looks like they are having an extended family vacation.

We received an email from Susan, a teacher from Huband today. She said: “Thanks so much for the update. I’m really glad to hear Bobby is doing a little better overall — it sounds like it’s been a tough stretch for him (and for you!). Hopefully the test results give you some clear answers and peace of mind. Let’s wait to schedule a call until you have more information from the doctor. Once you get the results and have a better sense of things, just reach out and we can find a time to connect. In the meantime, I hope Bobby continues to feel better each day. It was so lovely to see him today.
