Both kids are home sick today. Bobby will be distributing the Valentine’s Day gifts that he made last night on Wednesday, as Monday is Family Day and Tuesday is Teacher Work Day.
Our little rooster is crowing these days (see photo to the right). Not the best, but he’s doing his best and learning…
Katie had her first driving lesson this afternoon. She liked the driving instructor, which is a plus. The lady drove the car to the residential area behind Quality Foods in Comox so Katie could practice some driving on the street. Apparently the instructor has not only a brake, but a gas pedal as well. Katie enjoyed the lesson and is all pumped about driving now!
I took Katie out for a drive this evening. She wanted to go to Starbucks so she picked up a ham and cheese croissant, a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino, and a cake pop. Starbucks is not cheap! With my Americano the order came at over $20! How can people afford this on a daily basis? Answer? They can’t! That’s why they are all broke! Later in the drive we stopped off at Tim Hortons so Katie could satisfy her sweet tooth with a chocolate dipped donut as they were out of vanilla dipped ones. Let’s call this Daddy/Daughter Day #166.
My wife took Bobby to Urgent Care this evening. No prescription for me to pick up this evening.
