Today is a teacher work day so no school for the kids today either.
I stopped off at our family doctor this afternoon to see about the form I wanted him to fill out for a brace prescription. He is out for a week so it will not be signed till next Tuesday at the earliest. I sometimes wonder if having a family doctor here is worth it…
My wife took Katie shopping this afternoon. She’s looking for a skirt to wear at the Model UN concert in Victoria. You can see her dressed up like Robin Hood in the photo to the right. I mentioned to her about the Mel Brooks movie “Robin Hood Men In Tights” from 1993.
Therapist Amy’s daughter goes to UVIC and used to be in Model UN. During our last visit we talked about the possibility of Katie meeting her when she went down to Victoria for the Model UN conference but that didn’t come up on our visit yesterday so it looks like it’s not to be, unless Amy arranged something and forgot to mention it to us. Maybe she will just “pop in” and say hello to Katie unannounced!
Both kids are feeling much better so it looks like school tomorrow!
