Both kids went to school today, although Katie did go later in the day.
I picked up Bobby at Huband this afternoon (see photo to the left) and drove him over to Esca’s house for a play date. My wife made a PB&J sandwich for him to eat in the car and a package of Annie’s Mac & Cheese to give to Esca’s mom for Bobby’s “potential” dinner. On the drive over Bobby was saying he didn’t want to stay to long as the internet cable to connect his bedroom PC to the router in the living room came. In the end Katie and I picked him up at Esca’s place and drove him home after our drive.
Oh, and Asher is no longer sitting with Bobby. After Asher punched Bobby in the arm the other day, and Bobby requested a seat change, the teacher mixed them up. Bobby is now sitting with Esca, which is nice, as long as they don’t spent all their time talking about “non school issues”. It looks like the teacher is not going to escalate this any further, but she did ask Bobby how his arm was today.
After dropping Bobby off at Esca’s I swung around and picked up Katie at Vanier. We went for a drive and when we noticed that the Starbucks drive thru was closed due to technical issues we ended up at McDonalds where Katie picked up a “10 Chicken Nugget” combo.
During our drive Katie and I talked about the therapist and she wants me to go with her until she feels comfortable to meet with her on her own. She said that any Monday or Friday evening would work best for her.
