Bobby is home sick today but Katie went.
There is a house with a blue roof directly across from Bobby’s bedroom window. When the sun hits it just right it looks like a gigantic tv screen!
“Too Good To Be Thru”, a local thrift store near the library in Courtenay has some open volunteer positions for students that Katie is interested in looking into. You can read all about it in the photo to the right. Good experience and it might even work into a paying job one day.
Katie had an idea in the shower this evening that she is interested in implementing. You can read all about it in the photo to the left. She plans to make a tiktok account about it.
Today is my wife’s last official work day for her UNC job. Actually tomorrow is the last day of the month, so that’s her last day, but today is the official last day. Her boss plans to send her a box so that she can package up her laptop and return it to Chapel Hill. He’s very upset about her leaving and thinks he might just retire now.
Katie is off to Victoria for Model UN bright and early tomorrow! I will be taking her to Canadian Tire at the Driftwood Mall where they will leave at 5:30 am!
