In the “wee hours” this morning Courtenay time the US & Israel bombed Iran. Here we go…
I dropped Katie off at Driftwood Mall at 5:15 am this morning so she could meet Mr. Randall and the rest of the crew in the parking lot. They are going to Victoria for a Model UN conference today. I then went to McDonalds at the corner of Ryan & Lerwick and was surprised how few people were there at 5:30 am. In fact, I was the 2nd person there and the restaurant was practically empty when I left close to 7 am. I’m not usually up this early at McDonalds, so it was interesting…
At 2 pm today I took Bobby to his classmate Zephr’s birthday party in Comox. They rented a bouncy house. My wife picked him up two hours later. He gave Zephr a Lego Minecraft set as his birthday gift (see photo to the right).
Zoey got an award at the Model UN conference in Victoria. Katie was a bit upset by this given the fact that she worked so hard on her paper and Vivian helped Zoey with hers and they both admitted it was not that good.
Katie and the gang stopped for dinner this evening at the White Spot in Nanimo (see photo to the right), then on to Courtenay.
After 9 am this evening Mr. Randall and the crew arrived back from Victoria. I picked Katie up at Driftwood Mall, where they left, and took her home. She was exhausted. Long day!
