Katie was happy to be home today after yesterday’s busy day, but Batman woke her up at 7:30 am preventing her from having a long deep sleep. As such, she has been exhausted and headachy all day. I gave Batman a talking to about this and he didn’t take the correction nicely (as you can see in the photo to the right).
Bobby had a nice long bath tonight, one of his favorite activities. He told me that the bouncy house was rather small at Zephr’s birthday party yesterday, with the “suggested limit” at only two people. There were other things to do at the party, such as soccer, so everyone had a good time.
Katie spent quite a bit of time today working on her “Model UN” bag for upcoming conferences (see photo to the left). There are plans for one more conference before the end of the year, and more for upcoming years. Katie said that Mr. Randall seems to think that he needs to go to a PAC (Parent Advisory Council … like the PTA in the US) meeting in person to ask for money.
The other day Katie was not sure if she would be able to keep up with all these “Model UN” requirements, but when I told her that this would be good if she decided to major in “Women Studies” at University, and that seemed to give her even more interest in moving forward.
Katie spent time on the swing this evening, one of her favorite activities!
I was mentioning that I don’t see Barney anymore. My wife told me that Carolyn, our neighbor who takes care of him, said he has changed. No more “mousing” at the barn and is now so chill that he even sleeps with her at night.
