Today is the big “Birthday Party Bash” at the trampoline park in Nanaimo! Both my wife and I were planning on driving both the van and the Camry loaded with kids to the event, but with my being sick, and a couple of kids cancelling, there was just enough space in the van for the kids so she took them there by herself.
The kids had a blast at the park (see photo to the right). The event was about 90 minutes long, the kids had a blast, and my wife ordered some Panabo Pizzas for them to eat on the drive home. To wash it down was the drink boxes that my wife picked up at the Superstore yesterday.
At home the kids watched a bit of Spiderman on the tv, had some cake after Bobby blew out the candles, and opened Bobby’s gifts.
In regards to gifts, Bryston (multi-colored hoodie) gave $20, Zephyr (black shirt next to Bobby) gave Uno, Esca (green hoodie far right) gave a Lego Mechanics set, Isaac (tall boy sitting on the step by himself) gave a Nerf-like gun, Rory (blue hoodie back left) gave a Lego Marvel set, and Enzo (light green hoodie) gave a Hover Hockey toy.
I talked to Enzo a bit about his recent trip to Australia and New Zealand. He was gone for a couple of months and he told me that his father used to work in Cairns for 11 years. I told him that I lived in Brisbane and he said that this was the airport that they came in and out of.
Katie stayed home all day and rested, but she did color in the leopard drawing she made!
