Today was a rather lazy restful day around the house!
Katie hurt her thumb descending the stairs. Bobby was playing with Ethan most of the day. You can see him playing the new 3D “Spiderman Game” in the photo to the right. He was playing some Minecraft with Ethan a bit before that.
I had Bobby tell Ethan that I went to see Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings in Victoria on Tuesday. Unlike Sir Paul McCartney, he wasn’t sure who they were. I mentioned “Taking Care of Business” and he was still unsure… I told him that his father would surely know.
Oh, and Bobby showed Ethan his new Minecraft mansion. Ethan apparently doesn’t have one.
Mom had a nap this afternoon and had a hard time waking up. It’s just that type of a day…
Katie is excited that her video about “Genshin Impact Pyro” now has 73 views, and the channel has it’s first subscriber! I was kidding with her that I should go and use my 10+ email addresses and subscribe with each of them, and put the video on a loop for watch time… 🙂 I won’t though, heaven knows what this does to the YouTube algorithm.
Katie and I got into a chat about a video game a workmate used to play way back in 1987. It was called “Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards”. The graphics were horrible (like Pac Man), but quite progressive for the time. Being able to even play a video game on a computer was quite the achievement back then. I also had to explain to Katie what a “Leisure Suit” was… 🙂 Here’s what Wikipedia says:
“A leisure suit is a casual suit consisting of a shirt-like jacket and matching trousers (pants), typically made from polyester. It is associated with American-influenced fashion and fads of the 1970s.”
